Mark Stephens

Mark is the Marketing and Sales Operating Partner at Greybull Stewardship where he is responsible for supporting the marketing and sales functions of Greybull’s portfolio companies, including development of go-to-market strategies and brand building initiatives, sales force design and optimization, implementation of CRM solutions, as well as leveraging marketing and sales best practices across our entire portfolio.

Prior to joining Greybull, Mark’s career included extensive B2B and B2C sales, marketing and operational experience, most recently as CEO of Piedmont Candy, a mid-size private equity held business where Mark was able to reverse several years of stagnant to declining performance through innovative new products supported by comprehensive digital and traditional marketing programs. Mark was able to achieve similar results as President of Broyhill Furniture and later Castelle Outdoor Furniture, repositioning both businesses to capitalize on evolving consumer purchasing and shopping behaviors.

Mark’s experience also includes senior sales, marketing and business development roles with Orkin Pest Control, where he led the creation of their commercial sales organization, and Heritage Home Group, where he led the sales efforts for a $450M portfolio of well-known furniture brands including Lane, Thomasville, Drexel and Henredon. Mark began his career in sales and marketing positions with Ralston Purina, Pepperidge Farm and Campbell Soup.

Mark is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he received his BA in Communication.
