Greybull Stewardship Announces Acquisition of Pogo Pass

March 27, 2024

JACKSON, Wyo. — Greybull Stewardship, a private investment firm that partners with small, established businesses to help them grow and scale, today announced its acquisition of Pogo Pass, a national provider of family entertainment memberships. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Pogo Pass members pay a single annual membership fee and in return gain free access to a variety of entertainment and educational venues throughout the year. The bundled nature of Pogo Pass provides pass holders with tremendous value versus paying full admission for each venue, as well as the added benefit of streamlining the process of planning itineraries and purchasing tickets. The venues benefit from the increased attendance of Pogo Pass members who might not visit otherwise. Additionally, the venues gain incremental revenue from the ancillary spending that occurs during the visits of pass holders.

“Pogo Pass aligns with Greybull’s strategy given the clear opportunity to extend its proven business model to untapped markets through our operational expertise. The company benefits from a first-mover advantage in an exciting niche within the fast-growing family entertainment industry,” said Mason Myers, Founder and CEO of Greybull. “We look forward to working closely with founders Shane Belliston, Mitch Jones and Scott Hyatt to support Pogo Pass’s expansion.”

Pogo Pass today also announced its expansion into two new markets, Houston, Texas and Emerald Coast, Florida. The company is currently active in seven additional markets throughout the U.S., including Phoenix, Arizona; Kansas City, Missouri; Las Vegas, Nevada; Cincinnati, Ohio; Nashville, Tennessee; Austin/San Antonio, Texas; and Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas.

“Greybull brings unmatched operational resources and expertise to businesses of our scale, making them the ideal partner to take Pogo Pass to the next level,” said Scott Hyatt, President of Pogo Pass. “With their support, we will continue growing our partnerships with entertainment and educational venues across the country, supporting their businesses while providing exciting experiences and great value to our members.”
