Rónán Carr

Rónán joined the Greybull team in 2021. As Vice President of Investments, Rónán supports Greybull’s investment sourcing, diligence, and execution efforts. Equally as important, he supports Greybull portfolio companies in their various operational processes and endeavors. Additionally, Rónán is involved with Greybull’s internal compliance and knowledge capture work. Rónán is inspired by Greybull’s mission which is strongly aligned with his own belief that value is best created by providing operational support and resources to talented company leaders and giving them flexibility to execute their ultimate vision.

Rónán graduated with his MBA from the Yale School of Management where he focused his studies on principal investing, small and medium enterprise management, and entrepreneurship through acquisition. Before pursuing his MBA, Rónán was based in Lusaka, Zambia where he worked as part of the business development team for Edulution, an eLearning start-up. Prior to Edulution, Rónán worked as an investment banking associate for Houlihan Lokey, within their New York Industrials M&A group. He began his career as a CPA with PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Rónán was born in Limerick, Ireland and grew up in Connecticut. In addition to his MBA, Rónán earned a MS in Accountancy, a BS in Accountancy, and a BS in French from Wake Forest University.

Rónán lives in Jackson, Wyoming where he and his wife, Erin, enjoy spending their free time trail running, camping, fly fishing, and skiing.
