Bijal Shah

Bijal’s path to Greybull is marked by a diverse range of professional experiences that have shaped his investment expertise. Before joining Greybull as a Managing Partner in 2024, Bijal served as a Partner at Alignment Credit, where he oversaw all aspects of the business, including fundraising, origination, underwriting, and portfolio management, as well as strategic decision-making. 

He excelled during his time at WP Global Partners, where he worked as Managing Director and was a key member of the Investment Committee, specializing in private debt, equity co-investments, and private equity funds. Prior to that, Bijal worked at KCAP Financial, Inc., a publicly traded business development company, where he was responsible for originating and executing junior capital debt investments.

Bijal also spent 12 years of his early career at MetLife Investments, honing his skills in investment sourcing and diligence, most notably in their Mezzanine Group. He holds a B.A. in Business Management from Ashford University and currently resides in his home state of New Jersey with his wife and two children. Most of Bijal’s free time is spent watching his children play sports but when he can carve out time for himself he enjoys playing basketball and golf and reading non-fiction books.
